Starting on June 11, the Alberta Opportunity Stream will resume accepting applications under new guidelines. This updated process aims to improve processing times and provide applicants with multiple opportunities to apply for the limited number of provincial nomination certificates.

Key Information

Applications will be accepted on seven dates for the rest of 2024, one each month.

• A specific number of applications will be accepted each month.
• Once the target is reached, no more applications will be accepted until the next scheduled date. The target number may change.
• Information about application dates, targets, estimates, and processing times can be found on the AAIP processing times and application levels page, and is subject to change.
• Applicants and prospective applicants should regularly check for the latest updates.
  

 Note: Alberta has received 9,750 nominations from the federal government, which is the maximum number of provincial nomination certificates available for 2024.
